Mould and Algae Cleaning
Due to extreme temperatures and lack of ventilation inside wind turbines – Black mould and green algae can sometimes be present on internal surfaces. If left unmaintained the effects can be detrimental to the wind turbine causing unplanned down time and the need for re active maintenance to carry out cleaning. We can provide fully qualified cleaning technicians that will utilise rope access techniques to gain access to the whole of the wind turbine.
Safety Rescue Cover
Indaxa specialise in providing rescue cover for clients involved with turbine maintenance, repair and servicing where the client may not have IRATA trained rope access technicians. We have a proven track record in creating a safe working environment within the turbine by utilising our own rescue methods developed through rigorous planning and testing of rescue scenarios from the top to the bottom of the turbine. We also provide environmental monitoring as set out in previous pioneering projects.
Environmental Monitoring
We can provide environmental monitoring services from initial testing and ongoing works through to the ability of the client to login remotely to monitor the environment of the turbine. This information can include oxygen, carbon monoxide and other gas levels as well as temperature, humidity and other important metrics. This information can then be used to correctly asses the safety risk before entering the turbine environment.
External & Internal Wind Turbine Cleaning & Maintenance
Indaxa offer a comprehensive cleaning service from internal mould, mildew and general dirt build up, to external removal of traffic film, organic growth and other surface contaminants. Our cleaning techniques cover all areas of the wind turbine from the interior steps, walls, and landing areas to exterior blades, nacelle and the tower itself. Various cleaning methods can be used including high level pressure washing, dry cleaning and oil removal. We also offer a full range of maintenance programs which include inspection, rust removal and application of new coatings.
Fire & Oil Leak Damage Cleaning
After fires and oil leaks it is essential to clean the affected areas thoroughly to ensure all contamination has been effectively removed. We can offer a range of cleaning solutions designed to safely and effectively clean contaminants such as soot, oil, fallout and greasy contamination from burning PVC smoke.
High Level Inspection
Our operatives can provide inspection services to the clients specification. These services can include NDT (Non destructive testing), Photographic Reporting, Visual Inspection and any other inspection protocols required.
